Hon. Mithona Tuon, spearheaded the representatives from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in Siem Reap who visited Achievers International School to conduct official inspection for feedback and suggestions related to the Phase II re-opening of private schools on September 11, 2020. The School Director and staff presented the security and safety protocols of the school to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment. They looked into the schedules of studying and break time, the positions and markers of the tables and chairs, the possible number of students in every session, and the washing area, canteen area, as well as the toilets.
The school is thankful to the government because they are part of the second phase of opening schools. The School Director said, “The school will respect and strictly follow all guidelines and protocols set by the government, I also appreciate and value the feedback, suggestions, and recommendations from the MOEYS Senior officials.” As an answer to the recommendation of the government officials, fogging was done to get rid of the mosquitoes and their eggs.
We are crossing our fingers for the speedy start of regular classes in the school premises. The AIS Administration wants to remind the parents and students to strictly follow the security and safety measures (SOP) once the school is open. (Makana Vienna, September 15, 2020-Journalism 11)
